RECUR’s newly released “Divine Dragon Summoning” at the end of August features a set of seven dragons: six wield natural‑element divine abilities, while the seventh is a three‑headed dragon that brings calamity to all. “Collect all six great divine dragons, and you can subdue the three‑headed dragon”—with built-in IP appeal! The design and color schemes of the Divine Dragon Summoning series are all distinct; these seven divine dragons are: the Three-Headed Dragon, the Fire Dragon, the Thunder Dragon, the Wind Dragon, the Water Dragon, the Light Dragon, and the Rock Dragon. The forms of these divine dragons closely resemble those of the famed Western five‑colored dragons. A lean, athletic physique with well-defined abs and visible muscle definition in the legs.
Of these seven dragons, my personal favorite is the Light Dragon, with its beautifully crafted two-headed design. The dragon’s mane is painted with a metallic sheen, and its wings feature a gradient coloration. The muscles, skeletal structure, and textures of the wings are rendered with exceptional detail, further enhanced by the soft‑rubber material. It has a realistic skin-like texture.

Both the Thunder Dragon and the Fire Dragon feature scaled designs that feel delightfully textured to the touch—something that, as someone with OCD, oddly finds deeply soothing. The Fire Dragon’s spine resembles blazing flames, lending the entire figure a strikingly dazzling aesthetic.

The Wind Dragon’s wings are raised, captured in the frozen moment just before the wind begins to blow. Its entire body is painted in a gradient of shades within the same color family, with an even, natural finish. The Water Dragon’s colors are a few shades darker than the Wind Dragon’s, giving it a more subdued, single‑toned appearance in comparison. Yanlong is clad in uneven, rugged rock, accented with subtle hints of verdant green—its coloration blends seamlessly and naturally. Among them, Yanlong is the coolest, most mechanically inspired dragon; its tail seems to be composed of meticulously assembled mechanical components, each piece fitting together with precision.

The Three-Headed Dragon is the sinister main boss here, with three heads; both its head and its dragon horns are rendered with a metallic sheen. Looking at its pair of wings, along with the overall design and color scheme, it’s easy to recall the dark lords from movies and TV shows—though I have to admit, it also brings to mind Chonglou from “Chinese Paladin,” with that unmistakably fantastical flair.

Dragon Summoning -Three-Headed Dragon
In the RECUR Yueku set of Divine Dragon summons, each dragon in the character designs comes with its own natural divine abilities: for example, the Thunder Dragon can summon lightning strikes, the Fire Dragon can breathe flames, and the Light Dragon radiates a dazzling aura the moment it appears. If kids come over to play, pitting six Divine Dragons against a three-headed dragon makes for great fun and sparks the imagination. But for a super‑grown‑up fan like me who simply loves Dragon models, it’s perfect as a collectible figure—something to admire and enjoy in everyday life—and well worth adding to your collection.
